Youth Volunteer Corps of Reading 9th Annual Canstructure Competition

The 2026 Competition Theme is

ANIMATED STUDIOS

The competition is underway, and teams are working hard to create their structures!

Please be patient while these incredible youth finish their builds, create their videos, and send in their submissions

for the 2026 competition.

2026 COMPETITION TIMELINE

FRIDAY, MARCH 13 @ 12pm - Teams upload their submission video (HERE!)

SATURDAY, MARCH 14 - Videos are posted below for all to enjoy.

SUNDAY, MARCH 15 @ 6:00pm - Winners are posted on the YVC of Reading Facebook and Instagram pages.

MONDAY, MARCH 16 - People's Choice voting is open!

YVC of Reading's Facebook page will have pictures of each team's structure. Simply "like" the picture of the team you want to vote for, and the team with the most likes will receive the People's Choice Award!

FRIDAY, MARCH 20 @ 10pm - People's Choice voting is closed.

But don't worry, the pictures will live on forever in our Facebook album!

SATURDAY, MARCH 21 - Team's are invited to Helping Harvest for our De-Canstructure celebratory volunteer event!

The winners of the Heaviest Donation Award and the People's Choice Award will be

announced live at this event. These winners will also be posted on the YVC of Reading Facebook and Instagram.
